Cabo Sunrise is an upscale salon and spa dedicated to providing the finest services and products with second-to-none customer service. The staff is dedicated, reliable and passionate about providing excellent service. Cabo Sunrise is currently one of two Summit Salon's in New Mexico whose primary focus is on growing employees to be most successful in their field.
Our HAIR STYLISTS are among the most trained and certified stylists in New Mexico.
Elissa Pedrotty is a CERTIFIED HAIR COLOR SPECIALIST BY REDKEN in NM. To earn this certification, Elissa had to complete advanced training and fly to New York City to sit for a day long written and practical exam. She is a true expert in hair design and color. People young and not so old love the way she styles and colors their hair. She is a true professional and expert in her field.
Juliann Upton has successfully completed the MASTERS LEVEL REDKEN HAIR CARE SPECIALIST course and is an experienced hair stylist providing wonderful styling and color applications. She is a true professional and continually advances in her knowledge and skill leading her to be one of Cabo's top level producers in service and customer product education. Juliann has been promoted to Cabo's Associate Trainer for future cosmetologists that will grow under her expertise.
Kira Hickerson received her cosmetology education from the well known Ogle School of Hair, Skin & Nails. Her customers always appreciate her skill and talent in hair design and color application. Many simply say they love her and return to her time and time again referring friends and family members. She is a truly dedicated professional who knows what her customers want and never fails to deliver.
Cathi Skousen comes to New Mexico from Colorado after graduating from Dallas Roberts Hair & Esthetics in Utah that requires more hours of education than New Mexico requires before becoming licensed as a cosmetologist. She is Cabo's expert in perms and has also had recent advanced training in updos for special occasions. Her dedication and commitment to Cabo is noticed by all.
Mariel Buteau is new to Cabo's family of hair stylists and has quickly and skillfully developed her own loyal customers. She received her cosmetology training from the Aveda NM Institute of Bellas Artes. She is gifted professional and her creativity and talent makes anyone in her chair look their absolute best!
Our Licensed ESTHETICIANS are highly trained and are among the most dedicated service providers in this very specialized field.
Rachel Paz, is one in New Mexico that gained valuable experience working in a spa with medical training. She received her training in California in European Skin Care. She furthered her training and experience here in NM in a physician's office specializing in anti-aging skin care. TESTIMONY: Two customers commented that they have had facials all over the world and believe that Rachel's facial ranks among the top. Another customer indicated that she has had facials in many of the fine spa resorts in the US. She found Rachel's to be the best!
Cabo is also blessed with our Esthetician, Christine Marks. She is a certified PCA Skin Care Professional and proficient in the use of Cirepil wax products. She has a unique touch who will give amazing customized facials using only the finest skin care products. She is also skilled in exotic waxes for customers requesting more than the basics.
Cabo Sunrise Salon and Spa is one of the few spas in Albuquerque offering gel nail applications and very specialized pedicures.
Julia Maestas, NAIL TECH, is one of the few true specialists in gel nails with nine years of experience. Her faithful clients continue to get their manicures and pedicures from her. They appreciate her good work and upbeat, sweet personality. She is a gifted technician in her field and was promoted as Cabo's Associate Trainer for future employees specializing in this area of expertise.

We use and sell PUREOLOGY, REDKEN, ALTERNA, and AQUAGE hair products. These include shampoos, conditioners, and styling agents.

OUR SKIN PRODUCTS
We use only the finest skin care products in our facials. Cabo is one only a few Spas in Albuquerque that utilizes the Eminence Organic Skin Care line out of Canada. We also sell these products for continuous skin care.

HOURS
We are open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. We are open on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We will, however, accept appointments outside of these hours.
